Generator covers available

These generator covers are designed to cover our Honda and Briggs & Stratton domestic generators. This product is made from a nylon canvas that offers two practical solutions. The first solution is that of water resistance and dust protection.

As generators are in storage for over 90% of the time we have come up with a solution that allows you to protect your generator from harmful elements that may damage it in the long run. The second solution is that of creating an unintrusive look, thus when your generator is in storage the generator cover improves the look of your generator. The generator cover has tightening straps on two sides so you can tighten the generator cover.

These generator covers come in three different sizes.

Alternative standby systems

Alternative back up power is becoming increasingly popular due to the load shedding situation. We offer various products of which two are listed below.

Solar Plus System

Complete alternative energy source for use when camping, for informal housing or during power outages.

Typical usage includes powering up to 1kW for lighting, TV, DSTV, videoplayer, radios, computers, microwave ovens as well as 12V applications such as lights, radio's and to charge cellphones and other equipment. The system makes complete provision for 220V (AC) and 12V (DC) applications. Not suitable for fridges, geysers, ovens, kettles, submersible pumps or products working with induction motors.

This system comprises the following elements: one monocristal solarpanel HW2686049 (1 X 70Watt, Size: 546x1271x35mm) with mounting brackets to install the panel at 33 degrees, one 65 AH 12 battery, one 10A solar charger and regulator and one 1000W inverter (12V to 220V) as well as four 12V energysaving lights complete with cables and lampholders. Entirely packaged in a steel controlbox fitted wih the correct plugs and sockets for DIY use.
